I am emotionally exhausted to prepare to say good bye to my dogs!!!! Sniff, sniff...
The new family said they will be by tomorrow but I never count on anything 100% until its done.
They are not gone yet but my heart feels so heavy with sadness to let them go. I have never gone through this process of finding the right people or really, praying and hoping they are the right people for them. You really don't know that for sure anyway!
The anticipation is the worst. I am drained emotionally from this experience.
Some may say that's silly and they are just pets, animals.
But, if you are animals lover, they are so MUCH MORE!
They are LOVE that is priceless. They give abundance of LOVE to you freely.
They are your most LOYAL friend that will stand by your side regardless what you have or don't have. They COMFORT you after a hard day when other people and friends leave you.
They will DEFEND & PROTECT you when others shy away from you.
They are always HAPPY to see you, even when you ignore them.
They ASK FOR SO LIITLE but GIVE SO MUCH, unconditionally!!
I will not have anymore dogs if I can't be around for them, everyday. Hard lesson learned!
Thank goodness, my Teddy Ber has been my very first and a constant companion that can travel with me, well.
I wouldn't know what I would do without my Teddy Ber. One is enough.
Doing the "right thing" is not the "easiest thing".
